Miriam Graybeal is a dressage competitor and
USDF Silver medallist.

Miriam grew up in Germany and learned to ride in the Düsseldorf area in Nordrhein Westfalen, near the Dutch border, including the Landes Reit und Fahrschule in Wülfrath, near her home in Mettmann.

Since it is customary for equestrian students in Germany to start with the fundamentals before they can move on to jumping and/or eventing, Miriam started to ride at age seven with basic dressage and vaulting and then mostly jumped in her teenage years.

It wasn't until she was in her mid twenties that she became passionate about dressage.

Miriam left Germany in 92 and spent some time in Canada, working as a working student at two dressage barns, owned a small tackstore and later assisted in managing a breeding / training facility. Miriam moved to the US in 1997 and spent 8 years in California, spend a couple years in TN.

After having earned her USDF silver medal in 2006 Miriam decided to move to North Carolina in 2007 to train more intensively in pursuit for the USDF Gold medal.
