April 12/13 - Cynthia Payne Dressage hosted Bert van Rutten for a two-day clinic at South Lake Farm in Huntersville this weekend. Bert van Rutten was the Chef d'Equipe for the 2004 Dutch Olympic Dressage Team. He is a master of the Grand Prix and has made numerable KWPN stallions. Both he and his father rode for the Dutch Olympic team. We had a great selection at riders, most of which were riding at FEI level. The weather held up well, other then a bit of rain during lunch on Saturday. Cynthia had it well organized with a great lunch which was catered both days and we went for dinner with Bert and his wife on Saturday night.

I was honored to be invited to ride Maxwell in the clinic on Sunday.
